Many artists paint with a limited palette. They only use certain colors and mix whatever they need with those colors.As a lover of color, I can never have too many colors to chose from on my palette. With each new painting I realized I only use a handful of colors in each painting. To stretch my skills and learn something new, I decided to try out this limited palette idea. That is how Blue came to be. I have turquoise blue, very dark blue, white, pink and green, 5 colors, all on the cool side. This was a valuable lesson that demonstrated the benefit of understanding color and the skill of how to use it. And it was fun!
